A fun, uplifting, read-aloud book for children of all ages! Whether it's a situation or a disability-homelessness, instability at home, obesity, Autism, struggles with learning, ADHD, or physical limitations-Everyone Has Something that challenges them."Everyone Has Something. Together We Can" celebrates the journeys we all take when faced with a struggle. We may feel frustrated, confused, or sad, but in the end, we are stronger, wiser, and more compassionate because our journeys help us grow. The stories remind us to consider the Somethings other people may be facing and to take an empathetic look at others. It's comforting to know we're not alone because truly Everyone Has Something!

Truly, Everyone has Something, and Sarah Kesty has put her finger on the fact that inner strength can get people with almost "anything" through their troubles. Her refrain is "Everyone Has Something; You are Strong Enough." That reminds me of the "Little Train that Could" and how that mantra was "I think I can, I think I can." I would recommend this book to families who have children with reading disabilities, learning issues, physical handicaps and more. Even families who are blessed NOT to have those issues can learn from this book. Do not miss reading it. BamProduct details

This book is a wonderful accomplishment. All parents, all children and anyone working with children need to read this source of inspiration. I celebrate its existence.
Our school used this book for Read Across America week. It works perfectly with bullying prevention and special needs awareness. Students and teachers alike can relate to the "somethings" in the book. This book is an excellent addition to your classroom, school, or home library. I would also recommend using the book for Read Across America or to go along with a bullying prevention curriculum.
As an occupational therapist who works in the school system, this book as been a great addition to my therapy tool kit! I am also planning to purchase a book for all my nephews as well. This book introduces key concepts about learning that since everyone has "something", none of us are not alone, and so we don't need to feel isolated, as well as how to feel better about our "something". It also encourages the concept of empathy in learning to understand other's difficulties or challenges in life. Adults will enjoy the concepts in this book as well.
Such a wonderful story of how despite life's challenges we have the endurance to overcome. Great story for kids of all ages.
Exactly what I was looking for. I love that it talks not only about physical disabilities but also about disabilities that can not be "seen" (ie. ADHD).
